Independent audits (Scrut Automation, June 2025) found our controls “Compliant” for HIPAA and “Satisfactory” for PIPEDA.

• Client names, addresses, contact details (email, phone numbers).
• Personal health information (PHI), such as medical history, conditions, treatment plans, medications, caregiver notes, and any other health-related details.
• Information about care providers, including names, credentials, schedules, skills, and work history.
• Time tracking data for care visits, invoicing, and reporting purposes.
How We Use Information
Your personal and health-related information is used to:

• Provide, manage, and improve our home healthcare management services.
• Schedule appointments, track caregiver visits, and facilitate accurate invoicing.
• Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and authorized parties.
• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare and privacy regulations.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve disputes, and provide support.

ProveraCare adheres strictly to privacy and security standards required under PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Our security measures include:

Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials, maintaining accuracy in provided data, and promptly reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activities.

We may engage third-party service providers to facilitate certain aspects of our services. These providers must adhere to strict confidentiality obligations and comply with applicable privacy laws. Payment and billing information, including credit card numbers, are handled securely by external payment processors and are not stored on our systems.

We retain personal and health-related data only for the duration required to deliver services, comply with legal requirements, and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.
